Preschool

Where our littlest worshipers can belong

Wednesday Nights and Sunday Mornings

There is a window of time early in life where everyday is full of the brand new.  A new world, new friends, new skills.  Exciting opportunity, amazement, awe, and wonder.  You can see this in the eyes of our littlest members and we want to focus all that awe to the One worthy of it.

To be clear, we’re not building a daycare or babysitting service here.  The Little Carpenters of CW is specifically designed to help our youngest ones experience and come to know the God that fearfully and wonderfully made each of them.  We’re talking about discipleship for the earliest stages of life!

  • : : WHEN WE MEET : :

Wednesdays, during the school year, we meet from 6pm to 7:45pm in the Preschool wing at CW.  These nights are full of love, nurturing, music, crafts, and lessons that can meet each little stage of life we serve.

Sunday mornings, we provide a spot where these littles can worship through play with a team of adults that serves during both services so parents can stay engaged in ‘big church’.

  • : : WHAT ABOUT FOOD : :

We ask that parents of babies provide bottles, formula, and supplies in a diaper bag for their kiddo.  A bag label will print during check in that can be placed on your bag.

For Wednesday nights, we ask that parents send a meal with their child due to the variety of allergy and dietary needs we have amongst our littles.  Your child will have plenty of time to finish their meal before kicking off the night full of worship and learning.

  • : : HOW DO WE REACH PRESCHOOL AND KINDERGARTENERS? : :

You know how your kid is like 400% smarter today than he or she was last week.  They’re learning and growing so quickly.  They’re picking up language, and social skills, and art skills, and motor skills.  Everyday is full of new.

We’re capturing that momentum and creating an environment where your little one can experience the love and safety of the Lord, learn to worship Him through music, art, and crafts, and pick up age-appropriate lessons that will grow with them as they prepare for elementary school.

We utilize a highly tested and effective curriculum that has elements for each age bracket along the way.  Kids will often come home with a project, a craft, or a piece of a lesson that can be discussed in the car, at bedtime, or later in the week.

  • : : I'M A PARENT... WHAT ABOUT ME? : :

Whether this is your first round of parenting or you’re practically a pro, we’re so thankful for the chance to come alongside you and share in the discipleship of your little one.  If you’re overwhelmed, you’re not alone.  We got your back.  If you’re knocking it out the park, fantastic!  We want to learn from you.

We are on YOUR SIDE.  Seriously, if there is anything we can do to serve you, equip you, assist you, or just show you some love, we’re going to give it a try.  The old saying is true, “It takes a village to raise a child.”  If Carpenter’s Way is part of your village, you’re going to find support, protection, and great parents to be an example and encouragement to you and your family.

Communication is a big part of how we want to serve you.  Our goal is to overcommunicate with you.  We want you to know of upcoming events, what is being taught, the Bible memory verse for the month, and a number of other opportunities.  Below are some links you may want to sign up for:
